POSTCARDS
At only
20¢ a piece postage (even
less if bulk mailed) - this is one of the most cost-effective ways to
reach consumers. (Maximum size for this rate is 6" long, 4-1/4"
high and 0.016 thick).
- For maximum
impact, send out a series of different postcards over a several week
period - and gain name recognition as well as sales!
REGISTER
A DOMAIN NAME AND CREATE A WEB PRESENCE
If you haven't
already done so, DON'T WAIT! Register a good domain name now and begin
the process of having a web presence. Having a web site is an inexpensive
way to give consumers 24 hour a day/7 day a week access to your business.
Check for domain name availability in our web
design department.
- Keep
the domain name short - or at least easy to remember. Remember that
you may need to verbally give someone your web address and that "dashes,"
"hyphens" and "underscores" get confusing. Be creative.
If the name you really want is taken try a shortened version. Above
all - try to have the name tell what you sell.
USE
QUALITY STOCK PHOTOGRAPHY AND SAVE
Avoid the
expense of photographers fees, film processing and scanning by using stock
photography. Quality stock photography will give you a professional look
at a fraction of the cost of a traditional photo shoot and is often available
overnight. Visit our stock photography department
and browse our affordable, professional images. We can create a custom
CD-ROM of your selected images.
GET
YOUR NAME AND WEB ADDRESS OUT THERE
Wear t-shirts
with your logo on them (give them to clients to wear too!), pass out logo
pens at meetings and networking events, drop by with a logo mug full of
candy to introduce yourself to a prospective client. For these and other
promotional items visit our partners at GoPromos.com.
THANK-YOU
NOTES
Write notes
to clients thanking them for their business and reminding them to contact
you with future needs. Not only will your gratitude be remembered, it
will allow you to keep in touch.
